BSU Broncos football plays home games on Bronco Stadium which also hosts BSU track and field. The Bronco Stadium was built in 1969 and has a seating capacity of 34,000 and also hosts Humanitarian Bowl. In 2002 the Bronco Stadium turf was covered with AstroPlay, a synthetic turf with a blue surface. This makes this stadium the only one with the blue surface in Division I College football. It is also nicknamed The Blue.
